I still haven't come to terms with what is happening on Tumblr.

It appears that I have been shadow banned. My reblogs show up but my original posts do not. I have no voice on Tumblr apart from messaging and comments. This is likely because my blog has been marked "explicit" by TPTB (I was conservative and conscientious when using the NSFW tag). After 2 hours of going through my entries, looking for flags and finding none, I quit. It would take days to check everything. It's like looking for NSFW needles in a g rated haystack. Screw that. Considered saving my blog somewhere, but I don't think I'd enjoy it as a static thing. So now I'm morning the loss. I was more of a collector than a producer, so it's a bit like losing a scrapbook in a fire. Luckily, I'm not that sentimental. My Tumblr blog was a fond habit, and I'm just a bit at sea.

Would you like me to archive it for you? If you make a burner google account, I could save your blog archive to the google drive. I'm so immensely saddened to see so much fandom history lost. It's also nice to have an archive: I can pull up my archive and screen-shot an old post history to comment on here if I want to, and while I haven't done that yet, It's nice knowing I can.

I'm glad you're here, though! I'm hoping that as people migrate, we can form a stronger community. It's hard right now because it's really feeling like a 'scattering to the winds', so to speak. My goal is to create a space inviting enough that as people search their way through the internet they feel comfortable in fanspaces on DW and stick around a while.

oh, I'm so sorry! your description as a scrapbook fits mine too. I am still hoping mine survives and gives me a bit more time to deal with the emergency, but I know the longer I wait to archive things, the more could be lost.
